Dr. Walker earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she also completed a Master's in Physiology. She further honed her surgical skills through residencies in General Surgery at the University of Texas–Houston Medical Center and Cardiothoracic Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center. Board-certified in Thoracic Surgery and licensed in multiple states, including Kansas, Missouri, New York, and Florida, Dr. Walker brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.

I bring nine years of experience in chiropractic care, where I’ve had the privilege of helping others improve their health and well-being. My passion for patient care and holistic wellness has been a driving force in my career. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my husband and our three amazing kids. Whether we’re out on the lake soaking up the sunshine, watching my kids play sports, or simply enjoying a family night together, I cherish every moment. I’m also a big sports fan—there’s nothing better than cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and K-State Wildcats with family and friends! My name is Ruben, I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and completed my cardiac sonography training at The Aquarius Institute of Technology in Des Plaines, IL. While finishing at the top of my class, I began focusing on lower extremity vascular scanning. I believe the key to my success is patience and understanding. I strive to put my patients at ease with jokes and by answering any questions they have about the scanning process. This helps relieve the stress and anxiety often associated with the varicose vein struggle. Helping my patients feel comfortable is my favorite part of the job. In my free time, I enjoy fixing things around the house and riding my motorcycles.

Tony Marquez brings more than 20 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, having cared for patients in both the Los Angeles and Kansas City areas. Can I have vein disease without visible veins?

What is the recovery time?
Minimal downtime. Most patients return to normal activity the same or next day. Walking is encouraged.
Can varicose veins be treated naturally?
